LORD — Logs Of a Random Dev

Tech moves fast. Most writing about it doesn’t keep up. LORD is where I write about what’s actually worth your attention — software reviews and comparisons, hardware worth talking about, programming deep dives, and honest opinions on tools, trends, and decisions developers face every day. No sponsored takes. No watered-down coverage. Just a developer who cares about the craft, thinking out loud with enough depth to be useful. If you want strong opinions, real comparisons, and writing that treats you like you know what you’re doing — you’re in the right place.

Who’s writing this

I’m Mohamed Emad — web developer, software engineer, and founder of Evelx. What pulled me into computer science was simple: it felt infinite. Other fields seemed bounded. Software felt like an open world with no clear ceiling. That’s still why I build. My background goes beyond front-end — I’ve worked across the full stack, systems, operations, and infrastructure. I like understanding how things connect end to end. I founded Evelx — a web development company built around execution quality. This blog documents the thinking behind the work.
